I wonder which suspend options we have on the Freeplay.
Doing some research it looks like upstream Raspbian is not interested in supporting suspend.

Reading the comments it appears that it might be particularly difficult to bring the graphics driver to a suspendable state.
So it rather sounds like the RPi might be the wrong board for a portable device. The thread also pointed out this SBC

There are people that got the Pasberry Pi Zero to reduce it's power to 80mA

So I guess I will rather need to look for a pragmatic solution, namely shutting down the device with as few keystrokes as possible and resuming the state it was in at shutdown.
Like an shutdown option selectable in the RetroArch menu and a script that launches the rom in the same state directly.
What are your thoughts on this issue?
