Got everything built and put together. I installed the newest image and I cannot get the LCD screen to show anything but a white screen. I've plugged it into my TV and it comes up fine. Is there any way to kick start the screen itself? I've only gotten it to work once since I've been messing with it.

If you are using the SD card image that we provide, then I would have to assume that the problem is either where the LCD connects to our circuit board or where the Pi connects to our circuitboard.
Can you post any photos of those two areas? In particular we might want to look at the soldering on the back of the Pi.

It's fixed. I believe the ribbon wasn't quite seated right. After I took it apart to take pictures the ribbon was slightly out. Put it back as far in as I could and it started working correctly. I didn't see any of the connectors when I put it in so I didn't give it a second thought when debugging.

Hi,
I've got a white screen issue also, ribbon looks good. Is there an image I can try thats already configured to work with the screen?

I have tried all the tips I have read on here for the white screen and can't figure out what I am doing wrong. I am using the solderless GPIO header and the ribbon cable is plugged in as far as will go in. I can get a green led light on the main board and the screen lights up and stays white. If I plug my hdmi in at that time it displays on my monitor. Only thing I can think is wrong is the header but it looks good and plugs in tight.

Could you post some pictures of your hammered Pi header? It is possible to hammer in too far, and then it won’t make a perfect connection.
