Hey wizardofyendor. We have actually been using it for a while now. Depending on which system you have (Freeplay Zero or Freeplay CM3) the results are a bit different. It seems to be quite a bit better for the Freeplay CM3. Using that driver on the Freeplay Zero seems to be a bit touchy.
In the main menu, if you choose RetroPie, there should be an option for "Freeplay LCD Driver" or something like that (I don't recall for sure offhand). You can test this new driver or go back to the default original Freeplay driver there.
